BEWON Prepares to Launch Its First Presenter, Confident of Continued Growth in 2023 with Sales Surpassing 600 Million Baht
BEWON, a leader in LED products, electrical equipment, and lighting innovations, is experiencing growth against the trend, achieving monthly sales of 40 million baht. The company is set to deliver a new experience with the launch of BEWON Café as a gift for the fourth quarter of 2022, before aggressively entering the booming alternative energy market next year. They will introduce the brand's first presenter and invest in a new factory to produce MIT-standard products, inviting artists to become dealers. They are confident that sales will exceed 600 million baht in 2023.

Mr. Apichart Onnom, Managing Director of AP Smart Co., Ltd., stated that BEWON, a leader in LED products and innovative lighting systems under the slogan “Long-lasting Brightness, Fearless of Darkness,” has continuously grown in its sixth year of operation. The company has employed a strategy of surrounding urban areas, building the brand, and supporting dealers in provincial areas before expanding into the Bangkok and metropolitan markets. The key to their success lies in their 30 years of experience in the lighting and electrical equipment industry, partnering with like-minded suppliers from China to produce unique lighting and electrical products that stand out in quality and standards at reasonable prices, along with product guarantees. Another crucial factor is seizing opportunities at a time when the market is interested in energy-saving businesses, particularly various alternative energies. Thus, BEWON has successfully established itself and gained a place in customers' hearts.

“We innovate and develop a variety of products that meet customer needs. The products that customers often think of when mentioning the brand BEWON are LED bulbs and solar cells, which align with the current era of energy conservation and the pursuit of alternative energy. We have actively marketed both offline and online, particularly through dealer marketing, offering promotions and incentives for dealers, such as sales targets that lead to trips abroad or within the country every year. Currently, we have about 2,000 dealers in Thailand and are expanding our customer base to neighboring countries like Laos and Cambodia, where we have as many as 10 dealers in Vientiane alone. The brand BEWON is recognized for its product quality and affordable prices, allowing the company to grow steadily regardless of circumstances, achieving continuous sales of over 40 million baht per month in 2022,” he added.

Recently, the company is preparing to open BEWON Café under the concept of a Lighting Café to serve as a meeting point for people interested in lighting systems and electrical equipment, as well as a welcoming spot for BEWON customers. The first branch will open in Bang Kruai, near the company's location, in October, with plans to develop Lighting Cafés in potential provincial areas.
Mr. Apichart also shared his vision for business in 2023 with confidence, aiming for monthly sales growth of 50 million baht, or approximately 600 million baht annually. The focus will remain on aggressive offline and online marketing and promotions for dealers. Notably, they are preparing to launch the brand's first presenter, selecting the right individual to help the brand reach customers more easily and quickly, thus expanding the customer base beyond the residential market, which accounts for 80%, into the hotel and resort markets. They will invest in a new factory on a 2-rai plot in Bang Bua Thong to produce products for the project market they plan to target next year.

“Previously, we had a manufacturing facility in China, but due to inflation and the impact of the war, product costs began to rise. Additionally, there has been a severe shortage of containers in China. Therefore, we have revised our plan to collaborate with partners to invest in building a factory in Thailand to reduce production costs and eliminate transportation issues. We aim to produce LED spotlight products, LED street lamps, and MIT-standard products (Made in Thailand) to penetrate the project market for government agencies and the private sector in both Bangkok and provincial areas, as well as produce other electrical equipment such as switches, electrical outlets, and new RCBO consumer units for customer safety at home. We expect to launch production lines in 2022,” he explained.

In addition to welcoming dealers both domestically and internationally, next year, we also plan to invite artists and actors to become dealers for BEWON. The company will invest in all types of BEWON products to be sold in stores, while artists only need to have suitable locations to open electrical equipment stores and a serious commitment to business to help make the BEWON brand more accessible and faster to everyone. We invite those interested to join the BEWON family, assuring them of the promising future of the lighting and alternative energy business, which is gaining importance from both public and private sectors. We are ready to fully support quality products, standards, and a professional sales team to help everyone grow together and make this business an interesting source of income,” Mr. Apichart concluded.
Looking ahead, the company plans to increase the development of solar-powered products and build a positive brand image through the project “BEWON Sharing Kindness” to continuously give back to society, such as sharing a portion of income for charitable purposes or providing scholarships for underprivileged children and youth. They will donate solar bulbs to foundations, institutions, temples, or schools in remote areas lacking electricity, ensuring that every life has access to electricity with “Long-lasting Brightness, Fearless of Darkness.”
